After more than two years of insecurity, we were able to host another big International event in our Knauf Insulation Experience Centre in the organization of the company EPD International AB in cooperation with Knauf Insulation, an international conference under the title: "Access to EPD data for all - today and tomorrow" is being held in our KIEXC in Škofja Loka. EPD - Environmental Product Declaration is a document that shows the environmental evaluation of products from the point of view of various criteria and tells what impact a product has on the environment. This description alone tells us that this is one of the key data in achieving more sustainable buildings, which is also one of the key commitments of Knauf Insulation's Sustainability strategy. The extraordinary interest for the event - more than 500 participants live and on-line - shows the importance of the topic. And this is exactly the purpose of our center - be case study, best practice and sustainable construction trainings and knowledge regional central point.
